Are screens compelling humans to be attached?

That’s a deep and important question. Yes, screens (phones, tablets, TVs, computers) are deliberately designed to be compelling, and this often results in humans becoming psychologically attached to them. Here’s why: 1. Neurochemical Hooks Every notification, like, or message gives a dopamine hit , creating a cycle similar to gambling or other addictive behaviors. The uncertainty ("Will I get a like? Did someone reply?") makes it even more addictive—this is called variable reward scheduling . 2. Design Psychology Apps, social media, and games are built with behavioral design techniques that maximize attention. Features like infinite scroll, autoplay, streaks, and push notifications keep people engaged far longer than they intended. 3. Emotional Attachment Screens often provide connection, entertainment, and validation , fulfilling deep social and psychological needs. Over time, people can associate comfort, identity, and even self-worth with digital inter...

Is "Methaphone" a myth or an idea worth exploring?

Methaphone Is "Methaphone" a myth or an idea worth exploring?  Imagine a phone made of transparent glass well it's called as Methaphone, a stark contrast to the black or blue devices most of us carry. While we might use gold or stylish colored covers, I believe Apple and Samsung might be considering a phone like this but not sure about it well some one would raise it to them until then hold on with this idea. When I first saw a video of a woman holding what appeared to be such a phone(Methaphone),  I wondered if it had actually entered the market. However, upon closer inspection, it seemed the transparent glass-like structure wasn't a real phone. It was a social experiment. The purpose it served highlighted a significant issue in our society: our deep-seated reliance on phones. We've become so engrossed in our devices that we might miss an old friend passing by. We are often so occupied that we don't take enough time for genuine human interaction. While I resp...

How private the secrets are?

How private the secrets are? ** A thoughtfully curated books on Business, Science, Technology & AI- Buy from Amazon  In my opinion, complete and lasting secrecy is an illusion in the long run.  However, this doesn't negate the importance of discretion. Within a professional role, particularly in an office setting, maintaining confidentiality is often a requirement during your employment and sometimes extends beyond. Sharing sensitive customer information with competitors or for personal gain raises serious ethical concerns regarding loyalty, even if it potentially leads to profit or significant personal benefit. Ethical practices are paramount in the professional world. Furthermore, challenging circumstances might occasionally necessitate a compromise regarding leads when transitioning to a new company. Throughout our lives, we inevitably accumulate secrets, some intended to remain private indefinitely. However, the reality is that these carefully guarded truth...

Tinku, a cute & young boy with twinkling eyes

Affection, Love and Indulgence For six-year-old [Tinku] a child or young boy , his world revolves around his Nanny, his maternal grandmother, a figure of unparalleled love and indulgence.  In his young eyes, she is the embodiment of kindness, a constant "yes" to his every whim. As a young boy he loves to eat sweets and 'Ladoo' (a sweet made of gram flour) being the favourite sweet, melts in mouth and one of the sweet that satisfy his taste buds, well being young there is no question of being conscious about not eating sweets, and his desire for it knows no bounds. A denied request unleashes a torrent of tears, instantly soothed only by Nanny's presence and the coveted treat. Their bond is a deep, reciprocal comfort; her absence brings immediate distress. While household duties pull Nanny away during the day, their evenings are filled with magic.  ** A thoughtfully curated books on Business, Science, Technology & AI- Buy from Amazon   Starlit Sky, Desert, Templ...

Let's Learn About Trade:

Let's Learn About Trade: Have you ever considered whether the items you use come from your own country or elsewhere? If something is produced in your country, you have good reason to feel proud. However, if it comes from another country, your next thought might be: how did it get here? The most likely answer is through airways, waterways, or roadways. If your country is landlocked and shares borders with another nation with whom you have good relations, then trade between your countries becomes a significant possibility. Any thing You Buy or Sell is a Trade Essentially, anything you buy or sell is a 'trade'. Furthermore, buying and selling goods across different geographical locations also constitutes 'trade'. Now, you might wonder if this applies to everything, even currencies. Indeed, at its core, all commerce is a form of barter. In the past, if I had wheat and you had sugar, we might exchange them directly – my wheat for your sugar. This principle applies to any...

A quiet place and the feel of your breath, a sense of peace is in U.

On this early Morning:  I woke up early this morning at 4:30 AM and tried to fall back asleep. Although I could have gone for a walk, I chose meditation instead. I thought, "Let's meditate." Once you close your eyes in the darkness, thoughts invariably surface – reflections of the previous day's experiences or memories from the past. However, there are moments when nothing comes to mind. I believe this state of "nothingness" is the starting point for deeper self-awareness. In this state, the only constant is your breath going in and out, yet you might not even consciously feel it. Meditation and Silence The duration you choose to remain in this posture is entirely up to you. Personally, I believe that unless there's an urgent matter, extending your meditation time is preferable. A minimum of 30 minutes is necessary to quiet the mind and reach that initial state of "nothing." From there, you might observe dark, narrow lines crossing your vision,...
